Dodgy steps! amazingly real and it surely calls for your attention!

The conlusion of Angkor Wat being as a tomb was supported by the fact that the magnificent bas-relief of the temple were designed to be viewed in an anticlockwise direction, a practise that has precedents in acient Hindu funeral rites.

This is the first view of the corridor upon reaching the very top of Angkor Wat, of course after climbing the dodgy stone steps. ;)

This path that leads towards the west entrance of Angkor Wat! West is symbolically the direction of death, which once led a large number of scholar to conclude that Angkor Wat must have existed primarily as a tomb! Very very interesting! ;)

This is the way to go down the steps holding a side railing! unless of course you are in a hurry and didn't want to que to go down, then you can take the same steps you have climbed up and face your destiny!.. This is trully breathtaking and nerve racking! ;)
